ABOUT MICKEY GETTY

Mickey Getty is an award-winning author, writing coach, speaker and photographer.

She attended Florida Atlantic University and studied writing there. Mickey is the recipient of numerous writing awards including the fiction award from The Pennsylvania Writers Conference for "The Birth of William" an excerpt from her current novel, The Junk Lottery.

Mickey encourages aspiring writers by offering a free critique of several pages of manuscript at her studio at The GoggleWorks, Reading, PA, during their Second Sunday events and she teaches adult writing classes at Reading Area Community College.

Mickey is available for book readings and signings upon
request in and around Pennsylvania. She is currently at work on two new novels - Soot and The Gift of Sin.
